Our Story

Kristin Pearson Wilcox, J.D., is the founder and CEO of Capitol Manners, a premier consultancy specializing in executive presence coaching and global protocol training. For nearly a decade, she has transformed how Fortune 500 executives, diplomatic professionals, and organizational leaders present themselves on the world stage, empowering thousands to elevate their professional impact and cultural fluency.

Kristin’s credentials are distinguished and comprehensive. She completed rigorous training in U.S. protocol and international representation at the U.S. State Department Foreign Service Institute and U.S. Diplomacy and Human Rights, and holds advanced certifications in global business etiquette, children’s etiquette, and executive presence training from both the Protocol School of Washington and the International School of Protocol. Since 2016, her client portfolio has spanned Fortune 500 C-suites, premier national organizations, diplomatic families, and discerning private individuals seeking mastery in the nuances of modern professional conduct.

Drawing on three decades of experience as a public advocate within the White House and Congress, combined with extensive international exposure organizing high-level diplomatic functions as the wife of a U.S. diplomat and in support of Maryland municipal leadership, Kristin brings rare, real-world authority to her practice. Her unique convergence of legal acumen, diplomatic protocol expertise, and practical implementation experience establishes her as a preeminent voice in executive etiquette, C-suite relations, strategic event planning, personal branding, and international business protocol.

Beyond her corporate practice, Kristin contributes her expertise as a guest lecturer for American University’s prestigious Women in Politics series and serves on the Board of the Friends of the American International School of Budapest. Her commitment to service extends to her community through leadership as a meal coordinator for Project Echo, an emergency shelter for homeless families, and active membership in the Ladies of Charity of Calvert County, Maryland.
